Jesus Mountain coffee is grown in the shade, 1000 and 1500 meters above sea level. We have created the perfect microclimate for growing the finest coffee in Central America by preserving our own rain forest complete with tropical birds, monkeys, wildlife and waterfalls.

Our farm has also been blessed with several "nacimientos" (natural springs). Using modern technology we've harnessed this water source to develop our own electrical power plant. This electricity serves all the houses and buildings including our beneficio (where the harvest is processed).

This past year was very gratifying and productive. We completed our power generator facility and also built a community church and a grammar school for the children who live in this remote mountain region.

Jesus Mountain Coffee Company is extremely proud of these accomplishments and remains dedicated to the preservervation of the the rain forest and the betterment of the Nicaraguan people.
